Our Land Acknowledgement

Our Land Acknowledgement is different from what your typically hear or read.

We are deeply connected to the ancestors and their story. Please take a window of time to ground yourself and we encourage you to read this out loud.

Reflect on what this could mean or perhaps change in your life and the lives of those around you should this be part of each day like it is ours.

We are honoured to be working from the traditional territories of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. May the ancestors of these lands and the lands you are rooted in today, be honoured by all of those who feel their grief. May we hear their love song and respond in kind. May we honour their elderhood, their story, and their hearts. May we continue to nourish this land, continue to hear the stories and honour what was lost...

May it always be so.
