About the event

WE ARE GOING LIVE AND INPERSON AGAIN!!

We love in person gatherings!  Join us for a small and impactful afternoon as we change the way your organization supports grief in the workplace.

You'll get the tools you need to make modernized bereavement policies work for your company culture at a pace that makes sense to you. You'll walk away with a communication plan tailored to your team and achievable goals so everyone knows what to expect when your new processes are integrated.

You also get accountability support not only from us but from the group. These calls will be set up with the group in attendance at a cadence that makes sense with everyone.  Please expect 3 additional online discussions (1hr each) that are optional but recommended.

WHO JOINS THIS WORKSHOP?

HR Leaders are typically the ones who join this group specifically.  We have CPD's from the HRPA to support your credentialing journey as well.  We also see Health and Wellness or People & Culture Leaders who are responsible for process improvements.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

POLICY REVIEWS FOR THE MODERN WORKPLACE:

We will support you in developing new policies and best practices that will improve your current bereavement processes. We take into consideration employee demographics, your current culture and your ability to be flexible with your policies through your processes.

PROCESS BEST PRACTICES:

We will work with you to review your current bereavement processes to develop actionable change. This will help you identify areas where improvements can be made and ensure that you initiate a return to work protocol is up to date and in line with best practices.

ACTION & COMMUNICATION PLANS:

Pulling all of these components and actions together, we will create a short-term and long term plan along with a communication plan so that your leadership team can develop confidence in what is possible and align that with your employees needs.

What to expect:

COMMUNITY LEARNING

Together with other human resource leaders, we will meet to learn, brainstorm, create, develop and action plan. We are big advocates of learning inside of community so that we can be better together.

PLEASE COME PREPARED

This is an action-oriented workshop where you need to come prepared with a copy of your current bereavement policies, processes and EAP benefits. We want to create and develop an action plan so you can immediately see change.

AN ACTIONABLE PLAN

We want to have a good time of course, but we also want to come out with an actionable plan.  Your plan will include a short term and long term goals, a communication guide and next steps on how to engage your leadership team.
